1. National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand is one of the ten newly sanctioned NITs by the Government of India under the 11th Five year Plan.
2. Its classes are being held at Government Polytechnic, Srinagar, Garhwal (Uttarakhand) at Pauri.
3. It is being mentored by NIT Kurushetra.
4. Admission through the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE of the NITs) for undergraduate courses.
