Located at an elevation of 3354 meters in the Chamoli District, of Uttarakhand in India, it is the Himalyan Alpine Medow. It is on the way to Roopkund
near wan village. This meadow is blessed with blooms in the wide range of Varieties and Vaitarani Kund lake where Tarpans are offered by the Devotees. The most commonly found Flora found in this area is 'Brahm Kamal' or Sauseurea Obyallata. It is one of the finest meadows in India Nnanda Ghunti and Trishul can be seen in there full forms over here. Bedni is also a major way-station on the Nanda Raj Jaat Yatra, a ritual procession held every 12 years. It is considered as the most romantic spot in Himalayas, carved out from the lush mountain scape, a steep ridge arching up into the dusk, and above it, the enormous western flank of Trishul One of the larger Bugyals (meadow) in Uttarakhand.
