it is announced that the application for U SET is availible from 25 june 2012 to 30 july 2012, the cost for the application will be 40 rs

The eligibility for apply in U-SET Genral catagary and OBC (Under graduate )
is 55 percentage marks and for SC ST it is 50 %.
According to rule of UGC the U Set exam will be only given subjects:-
Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, History,
Education, Psychology, Physical Education, Home Science, Defense & Strategic Stud
Music, Eart & Atmospheric Science, Mathematical Science, Law, Physical Science,
Chemical Science, Life Science, Commerce, Computer Science & Application & Public
Administration

Candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their post-graduation only. In case the subject of a candidate is not included in the list of SET subjects, the candidate may appear in UGC NET/ UGC-CSIR NET which is held twice a year.
