I want to go Badrinath by bus ....I will take bus from Delhi to Rishikesh .. If I reach at evening than is it possible to get bus from Rishikesh to Badrinath at evening??

you have to take bus Rishikesh to chamoli districts and its very less chance that you can get direct bus to badrinath from afternoon .. because its very far from rishikesh so plan your trip that you reach rishikesh in the morning

Except road transport ..uttarakhand Rail and Air transport is growing fastly. There are many flights are from other major cities like Delhi. Main airpots are
(i) Jolly Grant, Dehradun
(ii) Pant Nagar, Nainital
Now frequency for these airport increses from last 2 years ..
The Major railway station in Uttarakhand are
(i) Haldwani/Kathgodam
(ii) Dehradun
(iii) Kotdwar
(iv) Haridwar
In Road transport its better u dont treavel in hill area in rainy wether ..

This transport department was started in 1945,It was started by Transport commissioner U. P, when uttarakhand was a part of UP, The U T C ( Uttarakhand Transport corporation ) was started after formation of uttarakhand state in 2000.
The second other main constituent of the Transport system corportaion reorganisied by UTC , that was previously called State Road transport Corporation of Uttarakhand began to work on 31 October 2003 and now it is providing its services all over The uttarakhand state.
Presently approx 1000 buses are being working Under UTC ( uttarakhand transport Corporation) which are operation in 35 main nationalized routes , and approx 3000 buses are being plied by private transport operates on non nationalized routes.
Uttarakhand state main Road area is in hills . so the size and the wheel base of Buses are desigen according to the hill area .

Yes as i know there is a big problem of transport in Uttarakhand. So I dont think so that Miss rashmi can get bus from Rishikesh to Badrinath in the evening.. and i am sure you have to do some struggle to get bus at morning also.. you can get bus eaisly at down season ( down tourist seasion ).
So i suggest you to plan your Journary very carefully. Thanks

In Uttarakhand there are two type of buses one bye Uttarakhand government and other by GMOU buses ..But In both cases you cant get buses at the evening for Badrinath, As its long distance from Rishikesh and treavel to hill area is not permitted to Uttarakhand government .. so you have to wait for morning ... Its better that you reach at morning to Rishikesh

I am going Deharadun this week, this is my first trip to uttarakhand please advice me from where I can get uttarakhand roadways bus in delhi? And what will be its timings?

If you are going to visit deharadun or kotdwar, than you can find Uttarakhand roadways buses in Anand Vihar Bus station in delhi.
Previously the uttaranchal roadways started from Kasmeeri Gate Bus station but now the delhi government shifted it to Anand Vihar Bus Station.
The frequency is much better you can get Buses in every 30 minitues from anand vihar to uttaranchal.
The bus services started from
04:30Hrs Morning Up To 23:00Hrs Every 30 Minutes Duration
and from deharadun to Delhi or other places in uttaranchal its timings are
06:00Hrs Morning To 19:30 Up To Night

Yes now the delhi government shifted Uttarakhand Roadways and other buses to uttarakhand in Anand Vihar Bus station.... for temporary basis as some constrution works is going on in Kasmerigate bus interstate bus station
